Law Firm Campaign
Targeted at law firms with offices in LAFLA's service area, the Law Firm Campaign rallies large firms of 300-plus attorneys, mid-size practices, small firms and sole practitioners to partner with LAFLA in providing access to justice to the poor. Participation in the Law Firm Campaign enables lawyers in the private sector to fulfill one of the most basic tenets of the legal profession--to provide equal access to justice for everyone in our community.
The 2007 Law Firm Campaign raised $500,100 from 67 law firm "Partners in Equal Justice." The commitment of these public-spirited firms helped make it possible for LAFLA to assist more than 45,000 people--the elderly and disabled, the homeless, victims of domestic violence, indigent families with children, and the working poor--with their critical legal needs, free of charge, in 2007.
