The Employment Law unit advocates on behalf of Los Angeles' working poor and low-wage workers in a wide range of industries and workplaces. Through clinics, outreach, and telephone intake, we help clients address:

	Problems with their pay including minimum wage, overtime, and other pay related problems
	Obtaining unemployment compensation when they lose their job
	Retaliation and discrimination in the workplace
	Problems facing former welfare recipients who are now working
