Support from public-spirited law firms throughout our service area makes it possible for the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles to provide access to justice for thousands of poor and low-income people who otherwise could not afford an attorney to help them seek their legal rights.

Participation in the Law Firm Campaign enables members of the legal community to fulfill one of the legal profession’s most basic tenets, embodied in the words above the entrance to the Supreme Court of the United States: "Equal Justice for All."

The 2010 Law Firm Campaign raised $324,100 from our "Partners in Equal Justice" in the legal profession, whose generosity provided essential resources for projects serving homeless veterans, victims of domestic violence, torture survivors and human trafficking victims, low-income homeowners and other vulnerable populations.

LAFLA is grateful to 2010 Campaign Co-Chairs Brad D. Brian, Munger, Tolles & Olson LLP and Jeff Westerman, Milberg LLP who, with the assistance of the Law Firm Campaign Committee and chair Ronald Turovsky, rallied large firms of 250-plus attorneys, mid-size practices and sole practitioners to support the campaign.
