Karla Barrow

Karla Barrow is a Managing Attorney at the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles, South Office. She previously worked with both the Government Benefits Unit and the Employment Law Unit. She worked extensively on regulatory and policy issues as they relate to compliance within State and Federally run benefits programs. Additionally, she worked on Employment issues such as the Living Wage Campaign in Santa Monica. As a staff attorney, she won a judgment securing over 10 years of back benefits to a mentally ill client; the award was in excess of $100,000. An article about the case and its impact on Medical recipients was published in the Santa Monica Bar Journal.

She received a Bachelor's degree in English from UCLA in 1994 and her J.D. from the University Of San Diego School Of Law in 1998.
